Hello dear Readers and Friends, I’ve been so busy warning people about the upcoming transits, I figured I’d just write it all down to save time…there’s some very strange retrograde transits coming and I want you to be prepared. We’ll go over the usual Venus retrograde stuff as it applies to individuals, and Mercury, too, but first I think we should try to figure out what’s coming on more of a national or world level….

It’s important to remember that we are all still being affected by the Saturn-Pluto conjunction in Capricorn that was exact January 12, 2020. (That post is in my Archives.) It’s pretty obvious to me that we humans haven’t learned our lessons yet, so the pressure will continue until people refuse to tolerate or participate in greed and corruption. The news is so full of events where money is put ahead of food safety, building safety, transportation safety, proper medical care, mental health care…etc. etc. Money is not good or bad, it’s just a symbol for time and energy and a medium of exchange. It’s ok to want more money, too. The negative karma only comes into play when ethics and morals are sacrificed to get that money.

Beginning 12/19/2021, Venus will go retrograde in Capricorn at 26 degrees Cap. Note that there is a tight conjunction with Pluto at 25 degrees Capricorn. Remember Pluto? He’s the one who kidnapped Persephone and took her down to Hades. Pluto represents the underworld, and lessons about will power and how to use power wisely. And Capricorn? Cap rules the 10th house in the natural wheel of the zodiac — power, authority, public life, career. It’s so simple! The politicians were never intended by the Founding Fathers to be career politicians, but that is what has happened. Are they doing what’s best for the country, or are they positioning themselves for the next elections in order to stay in power and keep the perks and the money coming into their pockets? Just take a look at what industries and which companies donate to them…big oil, big pharma, etc.

The weather patterns have changed and the planet needs to make changes as a whole or face more dire consequences if nothing is done. From what I’m reading, everyone knows we need to do things differently, but the economic consequences to various industries have them howling in protest. It IS going to be hard to change many aspects of our daily lives, but really, do we really have a choice? I don’t think so, if this year’s weather patterns and events are an indication…

Venus retrogrades back to 11 degrees Capricorn on 1/29/2022. Mercury retrograde from 1/14/2022 at 10 degrees Aquarius back into Capricorn, going direct at 24 degrees Capricorn on 2/3/2022. Transiting Mercury will conjoin transiting Pluto by February 12th and the Moon is in Cancer then. US, Canada, Scotland and all island countries are ruled by Cancer. Probably some geophysical events around that date… and Mars, the action indicator, enters Cap on 1/24/2022. SOOO… what happens is they all line up the first week of March 2022 at the place where Venus first went retrograde in December. Venus, Mars and Pluto all conjunct that week…and then Venus and Mars BOTH enter Aquarius on March 6, 2022.

12/202021…Back again, I’m so tired of writing negative stuff, but people pay me good money to tell them the truth as I see it, and even though this blog is free, I apply the same principles… sure enough, right around Thanksgiving, the newest virus variant emerged, and then we had geophysical events, more trouble, more difficult weather, more people getting hurt, more abuse of money, more hacking attacks, etc. etc. Hawaii is Capricorn; that’s a good example. I don’t know what Indonesia is… Venus was just slowing down and next to Pluto. Now, the last 10 days of December transiting Saturn is square transiting Uranus — more trouble with hackers and flaws in computer systems and the stock market is showing some signs of panic. I think it’s pretty clear that people will be struggling to have a normal life in January, but we’ll work through it and around the 3rd week of February there will be signs of progress and the beginning of new projects and some hope…

Let’s talk about what Venus retrograde can help or hinder…Venus retro is really good for going over the past and refurbishing your wardrobe — sewing on buttons, fixing a torn hem, etc. It’s good for fixing up old furniture, too, and for finding items at home that have been lost. It’s a wonderful time to look up old friends, not favorable for meeting new ones. It’s ok to buy small items, socks, vitamins, computer paper and ink, but not favorable for any major purchases. Best to be careful when trying to order anything online. Here’s an example, Venus was already slowing down and when I placed an order on the phone, the company’s phone died right in the middle of the order!! Fortunately, the lady called me back on her cell phone and we were able to finish…

Venus retro can manifest as issues in love relationships, as new or different or even upsetting facets of your partner’s personality come out. If there’s trust, good communication skills, and a foundation of friendship, you’ll work through it. If not, then the weak points will be glaringly obvious…I would say try not to make irrevocable decisions until both Venus and Mercury are well into forward motion…around Valentine’s Day.

No cosmetic surgery, no tatoos, no radical changing of your wardrobe until March. March and April are looking pretty good for a lot of people. You know what they say about Mercury retro, plan your moves, and then move your plans after it’s in forward motion. This time, everything is so radical, that’s why I’m advising to wait until there is true momentum.

There’s some new research out that says that meditation is really good for relieving stress and also strengthening our immune system. Even 5 minutes of deep breathing a few times a day can help. You can sit in a comfortable chair but do keep your spine straight. As you breathe in, see the light coming into your body at the crown chakra. As you breathe out, see the old energy releasing through your feet into Mother Earth. Put your hand gently on your heart and choose a word to repeat in your mind as you breathe. This is a very simple technique, but it works. It could be the word love, or peace, or health — whatever you want. Say this word in your mind, over and over. If you find yourself wandering, like did you forget to put the laundry in the washer, gently bring your mind back to your mantra, your focus.

Even though these are tough times, there are still miracles happening every day. I talk to people all over the US and I keep hearing the good stories, the ones that aren’t in the news. If you are sincere and live according to your conscience, you can have miracles in your own life, too. Tomorrow is the winter solstice, the light will begin coming back to us. Focus your mind and heart on the changes you most want and need in your life. My wish is actually for you…I want everybody to have their own blessings and miracles…so let tomorrow be a new beginning for us all…thanks for reading, Jenae

WISH UPON A STAR — VENUS RETROGRADE 7-25-2-15 @ 0*VIRGO TO 9-6-2015 @ 14* LEO

Hello dear Friends and Readers, Let’s get the negative potentials of this transit out of the way first, then we can concentrate on the positive.

First of all, Venus retrograde is NOT the time for cosmetic surgery or any radical change in your appearance. Since the retrograde is in Leo, the focus might be on your hair (the Lion’s mane :)) and even though you may be dissatisfied it is best to avoid big color and style changes at this time because it would be more likely that you would change your mind again after Venus goes forward.

Another standard meaning would be looking at Venus as shopping. (Venus is the ruler of Taurus.) I already shared my wallpaper story in an earlier post. Best to avoid any major purchases at this time. There’s too strong a possiblity that the item is not really what you want, or that it arrives damaged, or there can be problems with credit cards, etc.

Venus is the planet that symbolizes love and relationships. It also rules Libra, the sign of marriage and partnerships. Many people will experience this retrograde as “Who is that person I thought I knew so well? “ Previously hidden facets can come to the surface. Whether this is delightfully stimulating or emotionally devastating would depend on your individual chart. Be more cautious if transiting Venus in Leo is squaring, opposing, or even making inconjuncts (150*aspects) to the planets in your natal chart.

OK, let’s transition to the more positive experiences of Venus retrograde. Even though this transit is not considered favorable for meeting new people, it is great for looking up old friends and since it’s in Leo this time, even past romances can resume with new life and spark. I have also witnessed that a few people will actually meet someone new that is their true life partner. Usually there are positive Neptune contacts across the chart. On a Venus retrograde, it IS possible that two people meet and know instantly on a gut level that they have a soul contract together. I suppose in this particular case, they are not so much meeting someone new, but someone they recognize from a past life… These experiences are rare but possible.

So, go to that class reunion, reunite with childhood friends, call old neighbors — reach out to whomever you feel like connecting with from the past. This can be very satisfying. For the first time in the history of the planet, it is easier to find missing people and loved ones through social media.

Looking at Venus as art and beauty, what a wonderful transit to pull out that art project that you never finished! It’s a great time to refurbish and re-purpose possessions, and especially to bring beauty into our environment. Great for mending, patching, painting, etc. Not so much for a big remodel, unless you started it earlier, but great for smaller home and garden projects. If you are artistic, this would be a good time to investigate historical art and creative techniques in any medium. For example, willow baskets, cane furniture, Balinese silver smithing, woodworking without nails, weaving, etc. Many, many possibilities… I am researching perennial phlox to add to my garden…

I have had the same conversation with 4 different people over the last few days and it woke me up to write about this retrograde in Leo, the sign of children, to write about our relationships with our children. Many of us may be reviewing the past with our kids, how we parent, why we do what we do, and did it bring the desired result? This kind of inner review can be very valuable and may indeed help us to steer a new direction in the future. Evidently, there’s a lot to sort out in this department. Each person I spoke with told me they were dissatisfied with their relationship with their children. Some were little kids and some were adult kids. In each case the person was realizing they could change their own behavior but not necessarily anyone else’s behavior. Re-examining the past can be very valuable and a Venus retrograde is the perfect time to do it :))

I may revisit this blog to write more after it has unfolded. One last point. If some of you think you are NOT creative, I beg to differ…you just haven’t found your right medium yet. Every person has dormant talents just waiting to blossom and when I mentioned hidden facets in partners, it also applies to ourselves. So, go ahead over the next 6 weeks and try new things. Just don’t invest big bucks to pursue a new hobby until after Venus is forward. There’s a nice window for purchases and bringing larger projects to completion from September 6 – 16th. On 9-17-15, Mercury goes retrograde…

Best Wishes, Jenae

WISH UPON A STAR — VENUS IN CANCER — JUNE 2 — June 27, 2013

Good Morning, dear Friends and Readers,  all you Cancers should find yourselves  in the catbird seat at the moment, the sweet spot with Venus now moving through Cancer.  Other water signs should feel like their life is flowing pretty well, too, since we have Grand Water Trine transits setting up with inner planets in Cancer, Saturn in Scorpio, and Neptune moving very slowly through Pisces.

Venus in Cancer symbolizes unconditional love and nurturing.  Cancer people are very protective of home and family.  Cancer represents the home but especially the kitchen and cooking and socializing  around food.  It’s a great month for potlucks and celebrating various occasions with a nice meal together.  Lots of Cancer women are good at catering, decorating cakes, publishing cookbooks, etc.

Venus in a man’s chart symbolizes women, love, and attraction.  When Venus in in Cancer, the women theme still applies, but can include female relatives, too — the mother, sisters, in-laws, daughters…so there may be a lot of interaction with them this month.  Venus in a woman’s chart symbolizes socializing with women, but also shopping for items for family and the home, particularly the kitchen.  For example, if you wanted to buy a juicer, this would be the time to do it, but before the 26th when Mercury goes retro.  Painting and remodeling the home are also favored at this time.  This is a great month for weddings, family reunions, showers, graduations, celebrations of all kinds…

I’ve covered a lot of the conjunctions in earlier posts, so let’s see what else Venus is doing this month.  I like to allow a day on either side of an exact Venus transit for orb.

On June 7th, the  day before the New Moon, Venus trines both Neptune and Saturn.  Grand trines mean  people can be self-sufficient and don’t need other people to jump-start them.  So this  period is a  time when water signs especially can really be in the flow with their life’s events.  What this means is you can feel very stable and grounded, lucky, too.  There’s some challenging transits leading up to the Full Moon but most people should be able to sail right around any difficulties.  An old phrase comes to mind…”you can keep your head straight when all about you are losing theirs”…  This is a good time to teach children to swim or start swimming lessons, to enjoy water activities  in a sheltered environment, not the open sea (Mars square Neptune).  Great for  groundbreaking for a pool in your yard, or a fountain, or even installing a new sink or shower or bath.

I like June 10th,  when the Moon in Cancer conjoins Venus.  Wonderful for a party, a celebration, for shopping,  for hanging out with women.  I will be cleaning my home getting ready for a family reunion.  Probably go to the grocery store that day, too, since the items I will need are likely to be on sale :))…

The 11th and 12th look a bit challenging as Venus opposes Pluto and then squares Uranus.  These transit form a T-Square which pushes a lot of energy out the empty spot — Libra.  This means people want their own way and are not in a mood to compromise.  Do your best to remain calm and diplomatic.  If it was me, I wouldn’t be signing any kinds of important paperwork or legal agreements or contracts on these days.  Mostly, though, I think you’ll find that people either aren’t in a mood to commit to social plans, or they keep changing their minds at the last minute.  Frustrating, but not a problem if you just stay flexible.  Using my own life as an example, the 12th is my family’s arrival date and I figure just have food cooked and whenever they show up is fine.  I fully expect them to show up late and hungry.  That’s one of the keys with Cancer, and ESPECIALLY with people with Cancer planets in their natal.  They need to snack frequently and they don’t like to get too far away from food and drink.  When my family leaves, I will be sending a care package with them.  Good thing I understand astrology :))  And now you do, too :))…

The 14th is a good day for medical as Venus trines Chiron.  The 15th is a good day for gatherings of women or a party as Venus sextiles Moon in Virgo.  That’s actually a fabulous time to learn more about diet and nutrition, too.

On June 20th and 21st, Mercury conjoins Venus and the Sun enters Cancer.  A sweet time for a wedding or family reunion with lots of laughter, jokes and affectionate speech.  A wonderful time to visit parents and grandparents.  It’s an interesting thing about Cancer, that while it rules babies and the love and nurturing required to care for them, Cancer also symbolizes the later years, too.  Not death like Scorpio, but more the cherishing and reviewing the family legacy — memories, antiques, the family history and geneology, passing on the treasures of the family to the next generation.  This is a great transit to “interview” the elders in your family and catch the memories, the details, the family history on video or cd.   There’s a  reason that Cancer natives are usually the ones   to inherit the family antiques, and that is because they treasure them and take care of them properly.  Those of you who like  scrapbooking could find this is a  great time to put collections of photos together to pass on to the younger generations.

The Full Moon is the 23rd at 2 degrees Cap/Cancer.  I think these mellow transits should smooth out the prelude, but the day AFTER the Moon will oppose Venus, which can be disruptive.  This transit reminds me of brides-to-be fighting over wedding dresses at a big sale in a department store.  Mostly, though, people may not be able to agree on social plans, like which movie or which restaurant to go to, or even who to socialize WITH.   A few people, with helpful aspects in their natals, will be able to have a heart to heart talk and clear the air of any misunderstandings.

Looking at  the month overall, if you need to buy a new home or move to a new one, this is probably your best time to find a great fit.  Try to schedule showings on the 10th, and the 19th to the 21st.  If you’re buying, plan to close after July 20th for best results…

People who work in the restaurant or food business should do well, also people in retail businesses that supply home and kitchen items, appliances, and baby items.  Same with farmers and ranchers — a busy time and remember the weather will continue to be unsettled.  Jupiter in Cancer should increase harvests and productivity, but with the lurking squares between Uranus and Pluto and the stress they put on Jupiter in Cancer, all bets are off.  More on this and the US chart in another post to come…

Venus enters Leo on June 27th and since Mercury is retro, Leos will need to postpone any major shopping and/or beauty treatments.  So get your hair or nails done early :))

More soon, Blessings, Jenae
