11-8-2018 to 12-2 2019

Good Evening dear Friends and Readers, let’s continue with the Jupiter transits through the houses. If you have Gemini rising, then Jupiter transiting Sagittarius would be most likely in your 7th house of partnerships. Now this house is really ANY important one on one relationship, not just marriage, and not just the piece of paper either. The 7th can symbolize business partnerships, mentor/teacher/student relationships, even open enemies. I have seen people both marry and divorce when either Jupiter OR Saturn transits through their 7th.  Looking at this transit another way, your luck and growth is likely to come to you through your partner. Sure, maybe they get a raise or a promotion, but what about your partner introducing to some kind of new learning and growth? It may be a hobby they have a passion for, but it could also be something new the two of you do together.  Maybe you learn a new language? Whatever it is, it can grow in importance in your life over the next 12 years. Meanwhile, THIS year, watch the time management. Your partner could be over-optimistic about planning their schedule.

If you have Taurus rising, the Jupiter in Sag will transit your 8th house of shared money, love, and power. This is the house that rules other peoples’ money, like mutual funds and group investments. The 8th is taxes, insurance, inheritance, and Jupiter here makes it easier to get a loan. Just don’t go overboard. Since Sag is one of the legal signs (Libra is the other), it would behoove you to file your taxes most carefully. Err on the side of caution.  Pay attention to all tax and insurance matters.  Inheritance is certainly possible, but the whole chart must concur…not just one planet. Besides, people inherit more than money. A dear one in your life may gift you with something they think you will treasure. Books, art, furniture, a music collection — it could be anything.  If you decide to buy into a time share vacation home or  condo, be sure to read all the rules FIRST! And ask questions !! I have heard that it can be very difficult to get out of these investments, should you get older or just change your mind later. Jupiter in the 8th should mean there is enough money to travel and romance can blossom during trips away from home…

Aries rising means Jupiter will transit Sag in your 9th house, its OWN house, so you get a double dose of travel, laughter, new experiences and new physical activities.  Outdoor life calls you.  Sports, too. This is an excellent transit to further your education, whether it’s school or self-study. If you need licensing or certification to pursue your career this is a good year to get it.  The 9th rules metaphysics and philosophy, so maybe you go to classes or a workshop to learn more about how the Universe works.  For the first time in history, all the information is available to us… to deeply understand how things work and how to create the life you want. You may meet people from other countries. Foreign and/or ancient cultures may interest you. The I Ching (China), Runes (Vikings), etc. are ancient methods of divination that you can use without anyone else’s help. Tarot is old but takes a lot of study. I like to recommend the simpler systems to people who are just beginning to learn about metaphysics. There’s another deck of cards that I recommend to my clients. Doreen Virtue has many decks, but this one in particular is called Angels and Saints. It’s very simple to use and most helpful to everyone I know who has tried it, myself included. Don’t be surprised if you meet a teacher this year.

Pisces rising means Jupiter in Sag will be transiting your 10th house of career, reputation, and public life. Usually this transit brings an increase in your stature at work. Guard your reputation and don’t play mind games. Live your life as if it will be tomorrow’s front page news.  People in many businesses may find themselves travelling more to workshops and tradeshows. Or a person could appear from far away to provide your business with training on site.  Jupiter in Sag could mean the government has new rules that apply to your career, or there could be legal issues that change the big picture. Not necessarily negative, just changes. If you need to get more advanced licensing or credentials to continue in your chosen career, then this is a very good year to fulfill those requirements. Some people with Jupiter in Sag in their 10th will relocate overseas for a new job. Others may seek new jobs with better pay and opportunities. This is a year for you to stretch and grow in your public or professional life. The Sag colors are royal blue and turquoise. Find ways to incorporate those colors at work :))

Aquarius rising means Jupiter is in your 11th house of friends, groups, and hopes and wishes for the future. No better transit to either take a class or teach a class. Teamwork and cooperation should prevail and you can make new friends who will last a lifetime. Follow your heart, your passion, and your aspiration when choosing what kind of class to take or teach. It doesn’t matter what it is, as long as it has a positive effect on the participants and everyone is 100% committed.  The 11th house also symbolizes all humanitarian groups and clubs, where people come together to make a better world. If this appeals to you, you could find some kind of large project is planned for your community, or even larger. The same things applies — you can meet great people and develop skills you didn’t even know you had :)) The 11th house also rules astrology, so studying your chart and the art itself can bring you unexpected benefits. I began my studies 50 years ago, hard to believe, but I started young and I have never lost my enthusiasm and passion.  Aquarius rising means you have a gift for understanding astrology and it will make your life both easier and more fun :))

If you have Capricorn rising, Jupiter in Sag in your 12th is a more subtle transit since this is a hidden and behind the scenes house. Jupiter here offers you help on a spiritual level. Cap rising has a lot going on that could be challenging — Saturn in your 1st, Pluto in your 1st, and depending on the rest of the chart you could even be facing quite the crisis. It may have to do with work but it also could be health changes. Jupiter in the 12th, which also rules hospitals, means you would receive very good care. That doesn’t absolve you of responsibility, though. The first rule of Saturn in your 1st is to take responsibility to ensure your good health — whether that means improved nutrition, more exercise, more naps, researching any medicines that are prescribed, etc.  The blessing of Jupiter in your 12th is no matter what’s going on, you have a lot of help from your guides and angels and from loved ones on the other side. This loving support can help you weather the crisis and emerge stronger spiritually. A lot of people with Cap rising ARE facing career changes. Saturn and Pluto may put enough pressure on you that you decide to go for a new job with more responsibility, and the courage to try something new ends up totally transforming your life in a positive way. I have seen this happen over and over again since Pluto entered Capricorn years ago and now with Saturn also in Cap, it’s a now or never kind of transit. It’s a great time to focus on yourself and strengthen any weaknesses. Have an honest conversation with yourself about just what those weaknesses are. Jupiter in the 12th will help you.

Hope this blog helped all of you :)) Happy Holidays…Jenae

WISH UPON A STAR — MERCURY IN AQUARIUS 1-19 to 2-5-2013

Hello Dear Friends and Readers, Remembering that Mercury rules Gemini in the natural wheel will help you understand this particular transit.  It means that Aquarians need as much mental stimulation as Geminis.  That’s what the element of air is — ideas and communication, reading and learning, too, but especially this month it will be sharing ideas with other people.  Let’s start by noting that the SUN enters Aquarius today, too, and MARS is still transiting through Aquarius.  So there’s a lot of voltage, high energy being directed wherever you have Aquarius in your chart.  The next few weeks are quite good for sharing ideas with friends and groups.  It’s a great time to join a group and contribute your ideas and skills.  An example would be Toastmasters, if you need to build skills in public speaking.  Students should feel a renewed vigor re: their studies and may find it quite help to gather in small groups to work together.  If you’re into self-study, this is a good transit to study astrology, since it is ruled by Aquarius.  People at work may be preparing for a lot of meetings, conferences, reports, etc.

This is a fabulous period to exercise your intuition.  Words and ideas may pop into your head quite suddenly and this is to help guide you, so pay attention.  You will probably find that you know what someone is going to say before they say it.  This happened to me this am — a friend called and there was something in her voice, some slight change of tone and I suddenly knew she was going to tell me something sad had happened.  And she did.  You can also have a lot of fun, too,  with your closest friends and your intution.  MERCURY in Aquarius likes to change subjects rapidly and their joy comes when the people around them can make the leap right with them :))  Intuition, not logic,  at work here…it’s a lot harder during this transit  to slow down and outline things in a logical way for those of a different temperament.  Particularly this month since Mars is adding speed to conversation.  Aquarians can talk a good revolution but the reality is this is a fixed sign and they resist pressure from outside.  If fixed signs decide to change, they will.  I have to wonder, watching the US news and the polarization of viewpoints in this country.  Sun, Mercury, AND Mars in a fixed sign ?  Doesn’t look like much compromise or even careful listening is possible.  There’s a lot of groups that are very passionate about what they believe in and many groups opposing each other.  A lot of emotion and not too much logic.  I would recommend that people speak their truth to their nearest and dearest, but with other people this month, about all you can do is avoid difficult subjects or risk fanning the flames.  If you’re into group activities then focus on the task at hand and don’t let yourself get drawn into arguments.

This Mercury in Aquarius transit is also good for engineers and scientists because the analytical side of this sign is accented by Mercury.  Good for data, running tests, diagnostics, innovative applications and experiements.

There ARE some  Mercury transits this month, so let’s take a look at what’s coming down the pipeline…

(I got this far and I was ahead of the time and now I am behind the curve due to an out of state emergency that I had to deal with.  And the situation is still unstable and could require my presence again.  Good lesson in astrology — Saturn is square my Sun and opposite my Moon — not the easiest transits for sure…)

OK, looking at late January, Mercury squares Saturn this Friday and the Full Moon is the 27th.  Not the easiest period to reach agreements or consensus decisions, but things should be reasonably ok if you stick to light banter and jokes and create more of a party atmosphere.  Sun trine Jupiter will help, too…

Moon in Libra trines Mercury February 1st which is a Friday.  Fun, possibly romantic, harmony with partners and friends.

Moon squares Mercury Monday morning the 4th, and there are a lot of other squares.  Probably means people will be a bit grumpy at work.  Don’t schedule important meetings at that time.  And if you pry into people’s moods just out of curiosity you may find they are vengeful later when you might need their help.  So be discrete and leave people alone if they are moody.  You could say something like “I’m available if you need to talk” but then be prepared for an earful, so only say this if you are sincere.

By the 5th Mercury enters Pisces, so this was a quick journey through Aquarius.  Remember that Mercury will be retrograde in Pisces from 2-23 through 3-17.  More on this later.  I’m sorry I had to miss writing about the lovely Mercury trines and sextiles on the 22nd and 23rd — they were my best days to take care of business and health appointments and it all went well.  Hopefully, for you guys, too.  More soon, Blessings, Jenae

WISH UPON A STAR — BRUNO MARS, AN ASTROLOGICAL REVIEW OF HIS NEW CD   12/2012

Hello Dear Friends and Readers, someone said many years ago that musicians were the prophets of our times.  Neil Young, Joan Baez, Bob Marley,  Bruce Springsteen, Alan Jackson ( who proved after 911 that he could channel Spirit to create incredible beauty from horrendous evil) — these are just a few that come to mind.  There are people who study the history of music who know far more than I; I’m just an eclectic listener and I like everything from Georgian chants, classical  and madrigals to jazz, rock, country and all points in between.   I have long been a fan of musicians who play multiple instruments; I think I read that Prince plays 54 instruments.  Well, I found a couple more — Bruno Mars and Hunter Hayes.  They’d make an interesting combo for a Crossroads…

Anyway, I wrote about Bruno earlier when he used his Saturn on Mercury transit to write and compose prolific amounts of music. Now he’s just releasing “Unorthodox Jukebox”  and I think it may be an excellent illustration of Saturn in Scorpio.  If you  will recall, I wrote in earlier posts about the dark side of the world becoming more visible.  Saturn was last in Scorpio in 1983-85 and lots of buried stuff came into very public focus during those years — AIDS, abuse of children, women, animals, the planet,  the rights of farm workers, and lots more.

Let’s look at the release date, though the new music is available now.  It’s 12-11-12 — Moon in Scorpio along with Saturn and Venus.  There are some very heavy Plutonian themes in this new music.  WARNING:  Bruno’s new cd is not for children.  It’s very graphic and not appropriate.  I used to send links of his songs to my little granddaughter — NOT  this time.

His melodies and arrangements and his voice are still exquisite. You can tell he gave this music his very best from start to finish.  His lyrics…he’s not just pushing the envelope, I think he’s trying to break out of the box!  What box?  I think the only box is in his own mind.  Let’s review the transits in his chart for a clue.  By the way, I’m not posting his chart because I think famous people have a right to their privacy.  But his birthday is common knowledge and he’s a Libra with what? You guessed it — a LOT of Scorpio.  His Pluto, Saturn, and South Node are all in Scorpio.  Pluto is particularly strong here since it’s the RULER of Scorpio.  One of the old names for Pluto was The Destroyer; the plants have to die for the seed to ripen and regenerate, so with Pluto there is a major theme about transformation and regeneration.  Pluto was the God of the Underworld who kidnapped and raped Persephone. There are several new songs about regret and loss in relationships.  Now that Saturn is transiting Scorpio there’s probably some karma with this. A couple of songs seem to be an apology, making amends.  People with the Nodes in Taurus/Scorpio have to learn that what takes 20 years to build can be destroyed in 20 minutes.  There are issues about fidelity.  Flirting with the underworld and taboos might be fuel for the composer, but those experiences rarely lead to inner peace or happiness in love relationships. Some people need to plumb the depths to get to the heights.  Van Gogh, for example.  Others prefer a more level existence.   Vengeance is another Scorpio theme in this new music.   So are all the sexual themes and innuendos… all in all, a whole lot of Scorpio.  It’s what I would expect from the current transits in his chart.  I don’t know much about his personal life, but he sure needs to be aware and responsible for his thoughts, words, and deeds over the next few years as he completes his first Saturn return.  That is always a time of big, life-changing events.  Note that transiting Saturn is squaring his Jupiter and his Moon  at this time.  I think he is positioning himself for more creative freedom for years to come, depending on the record sales, but his personal life is going to highlight the values he most believes in and it’s only going to work out if both parties share the same core values.  The Eskimos have 26 different words for love.  Our language is paltry in comparison.  It will be fun to watch him compose along Sagittarian themes in a few years, incorporating music and instruments from all around the world.  Since he understands technology he’ll probably put together some kind of world sing-along or musical collaboration when Saturn is in Sag.  Something with foreign language, music, or composers…

He wanted to be on the world stage.  With his Saturn return, he needs to accept the responsibility that goes along with it.  He’s a hero and role model to many…

I think  what most concerns me is that if the musicians are the prophets, what he’s writing about does not indicate that the young kids out there are finding real love and affection.  I hope it’s not the jungle he makes it out to be. That is very sad… I want to hear from you young readers…do you find partners that treat you right? Do you have love based on friendship, respect, humor and affection for each other?  If you are single, do you have friends, REAL friends, that you can count on?  I’m trying to understand exactly why my readers read the Venus posts more than any other planet.  There needs to be a way to alleviate the isolation people are feeling…Neptune dissolves boundaries…I think I’m almost ready to write about Neptune…Blessings, Jenae
