SATURN IN AQUARIUS Through the HOUSES— PART 4 — 3/22/2021

Happy Equinox, everyone :)) Equinoxes and Solstices are always good times for card readings. There are many different decks that are helpful. Maybe I’ll write a post about them later, but today let’s continue with Saturn…

If you have LEO rising, then Saturn is moving through your 7th house of marriage and partnerships, and this includes any important one on one relationship. I have observed that people will either make a commitment or break up when either Saturn or Jupiter enter their 7th — it can go either way. Saturn can mean the heavy responsibilities don’t feel fair if one partner feels like they’re doing all the work, so they want out. Saturn can also symbolize longevity and attachment in a relationship, so the couple may even formalize their union by getting legally married, or signing business agreements if it’s a business partnership. Jupiter is also in Aquarius this year, and since Jupiter is the planet that symbolizes licenses and ceremonies and certifications, a couple may decided to deepen their commitment to each other. Since Jupiter is the planet of growth and expansion, the opposite happens when the person decides they need more space and freedom and a broader horizon. Put all this together and we can safely say that your transits are indicating that there is a huge emphasis on your most important relationships this year. It may not be easy but you’re going to learn alot…

When you add in the squares from transiting Uranus in Taurus, this creates a T-square that pushes a lot of energy toward Scorpio, most likely your 4th house of home and family. A lot of change and upheaval is possible this year. I know some people with Leo Suns with a fairly hefty amount of authority and responsibility and they are on the verge of major anger since the people in their lives are not cooperating for the good of the whole family, group, business, etc. Having Leo rising puts more emphasis on teamwork and friends and groups. People with the Aquarius in their 7th are attached to their friends. It is very important that friends are a positive influence on you and your partner and that you both like each other’s friends and group affiliations. If not, that’s where the trouble will erupt.

The next transiting square between Saturn and Uranus will be exact on June 14th. Best to be respectful, conduct yourself with dignity, and be fair about any division of assets. I would add that you may need to protect yourself if a partner is not being fair, but Leo rising people are not always objective. You may need some legal advice.

Looking for some positives in all this…if you have a partner and both of you have the ambition to accomplishment big projects, then this could be a stellar year for the two of you. By working together, you can support each other’s goals. It could be remodeling at home, or starting a business from home. If you are re-tooling your careers, then it may be studying and/or putting in hours for certification in your new field, which is still another version of working at home if you are taking on-line courses. It’s a good year to add a new stream of income…

If you have CANCER rising, then Saturn in Aquarius is moving through your 8th house of shared money, shared power, love, and intimacy. The 8th being a water house, is an emotional house, yet the Aquarian energy tends to be detached from emotions and mentally stimulated by new ideas. Jupiter here makes it easy to get a loan or increase credit, but Saturn in the 8th can mean someone who owes YOU is having trouble paying you back. Don’t over-extend and try not to loan money or stuff to people this year, no matter how much you love them. Continuing the shared money theme, be meticulous about taxes and insurance. It is actually a great year to make long-term investments that will pay off in retirement or old age. If you are a young person, time is on your side and you can invest in all the newest ideas like alternative energy, robotics, computers, medical breakthroughs and bio-chemistry, etc. — because that longer time frame works for you. Older people will need to be more cautious.

Cancer energy is known for collections of objects that are dear to them. Sure, it could be baseball cards, but it could also be art, old tools, toys, anything historical that interests you. With the 8th house, you might be buying or appraising and selling instead. It could go either way. If you have an expensive collection, then you need to insure it. Probably a good idea to review all your insurance policies…

Looking at the emotion and passion of the 8th house, you may be doing a lot of reading or studying about sex and emotional intimacy. There could be medical reasons, or just preparing for a child who is reaching puberty. Pornography and bondage games come to mind, as do crime novels. Sometimes people taking strong 8th house transits want to explore the dark side. Sometimes they are just hungry for a deeper, more fulfilling experience. There are counselors available who specialize in sex and intimacy. Some of you will be fortunate to have dear friends you can talk to about this stuff. Just PLEASE be careful about letting new partners into your life. Check them out, hire a PI if you feel the need or run a background check. Maybe I’ve been reading too much news but it seems like crime and deception is on the rise. I personally think there is a huge mental health crisis in this country, partly due to the pandemic. People are going off the deep end !! Life on the wild side can be exciting but can also leave you with lifelong trauma and scars…

I’ve been seeing a lot of clients lately with their Nodes in the 8th house in the later degrees of Capricorn. At the end of this year, there will be a lot of energy in the 8th — Pluto, Venus, Mars, and even Mercury partly, plus the Sun and Moon during various times. I think this may have to do with how wisely and fairly these people handle their power and authority. The 8th house at its best is the defender of the weak and helpless, and makes wise and careful decisions that benefit all concerned. It doesn’t matter what sign you have on your 8th — there’s still a Scorpio flavor. I think Pope Francis says it best — the more power someone has, the more responsible and humble they need to be…compare and contrast that statement with the exposure of greed and corruption going on in the world…some people still don’t get it. We’re going to continue to have BIG problems until each person realizes that what one person does affects the whole planet. WE ALL have the power to choose how we will conduct our lives. That’s the 8th house…

SATURN in AQUARIUS — Part 3 — SATURN THROUGH THE HOUSES —3/20/2021

Good Morning, dear Friends and Readers, I knew I was going to be slow with this series but it’s been a month !! So sorry, the days just seem to roar by…

If you have LIBRA rising, then Saturn in Aquarius is mostly likely moving through your 5th house. The 5th is kids, but also many other things — letting the child in ourselves come out to play, creativity, entertainment and recreation, and doing things with joy and spontaneity the way a child would. A picnic in the park, having pleasure in the moment, is the natural Leo 5th house. What complicates this particular house in that if you have Libra rising, it’s the opposite of Aries, so ALL the houses have their opposite signs on the cusp. This means you may have to work a little harder to bring out the positives and balance everything. Using the 5th as an example, Aquarius is much more about planning for the future, NOT doing things with only pleasure in mind. Ideally, if we are being our best possible version of ourselves, we can find joy in EVERY activity. The 5th is dating and romance, but with Aquarius on the cusp there’s also a strong need to develop a solid friendship and this takes time. That being said, Saturn will be in Aquarius for 2-3 years, so you have time…

Here are some examples of Saturn in Aquarius in the 5th that I’ve observed through the years. You may need to re-define what fun actually means to you. The old activities may not work for you anymore. You may have extra responsibilities for children or young people in your life. The beauty of this one is that Saturn in Aquarius trines Libra, making opportunities so much easier. Young people may need a bit of your wisdom about planning their careers. There may be more than one positive opportunity and they need to weigh the pros and cons of their choices. Taking your time to have these discussions offers you a chance to really build rapport with each other. It’s kind of the same thing with romance — taking your time to really get to know each other as friends will help you decide if you can really build a life together. There may be career glitches, like different schedules, that interfere with social time but this is really a hidden benefit. Remember that Saturn is a symbol for career, as well as responsibilities. Since Aquarius rules technology, connecting with people virtually may play a bigger role than usual. The virus has played a major role in the use of technology.

I saw an interview with the CEO of Khan University (free classes online). He has started a new program that offers tutoring for children. It’s called http://www.school.world. I think that’s it :)) It’s expanding to world wide and whole classrooms are signing up because the children have lost so much — scholastically, emotionally, socially, etc. I know a Mom who was looking for art classes online for her son and she found a free one with a Russian teacher and they did watercolors. There are many other wonderful resources for creativity for all ages. I personally have been watching sewing tutorials on UTube, learning a lot of clever ways to make patterns.

I have a dear friend with Libra rising and she is very much an artist. Any medium she tries is very beautiful. For her, the Aquarius energy has been to find a quilting group and each person makes a square at home. Eventually it will be a whole quilt. Zoom helped her to meet kindred spirits… I think it will be for charity. See how she balanced both the 5th and the 11th ? Find your own unique way to do the same…

If you have VIRGO RISING, then Saturn is moving through your 6th house of health, work and service. The usual is you need to watch your health, but with Jupiter going back and forth in this house, that improves the situation. Still, be very careful to protect your knees, lower legs and ankles (Aquarius) and the usual with Saturn is bones, joints and teeth in general. I was oh so careful not to slip on ice this winter…thank goodness we got through it safely. This transit will be with us next winter and the weather extremes are still continuing, so be careful !! The natural 6th (virgo) rules the intestines, so you may want to eat probiotic foods or take those tablets or powders that help the digestion. Every culture has it’s own version of sauerkraut…

The 6th house is also co-workers, Saturn here may represent a supervisor, or you yourself have increased responsibilities at work. I suppose Saturn in the 6th could mean a lack of a job, but again, with Jupiter here, I doubt it. If anything, I would think it would mean MORE work, and the square to Uranus in the 9th could symbolize some long distance challenges. For example, long distance challenges could mean information coming from a distance changes on almost a daily basis and policies need to be clarified. Maybe it means Zoom meetings at awkward hours due to time zones. The Aquarius in the 6th emphasizes the importance of teamwork and good morale. Expressing empathy can be important but at the same time don’t get too personal at work.

The 6th house also rules who YOU hire. I would be quite cautious about hiring workmen from a large company who is headquartered at a distance from where you live. I knew someone who used a national company to get new windows, but the communication was so garbled between the main office and the local branch that it took months before things were sorted out and completed. Of course, the virus made things difficult, too. You can look on Yelp for local reviews. There are also social media sites that will help you with estimates on what things should cost. If you are buying a new computer for work, consider getting an extended warranty…

The 6th house also rules small pets, small dogs, cats, poultry, and various other birds. The veterinarians have pretty strict rules these days because of the virus. And medical for your pet can cost a lot. Be aware of this and consider pet medical insurance, depending on your situation. Of course, you may need to look into your OWN insurance first — medical, dental, etc. If you pay attention to good nutrition and hygiene, and do some gentle exercise, you should get through this long Saturn transit ok. Saturn is about taking responsibility and in the 6th it means be responsible for your own good health. We have talked about taking responsibility on the physical level, but don’t forget the emotional and spiritual level, too. I allowed myself to get really angry for about 4 hours last fall and immediately got a sinus infection. Taught me a very good lesson. Negative emotions WILL manifest. Eliminate them. Work with your own thoughts and belief systems to neutralize any fear, doubt, worry, and negativity in general. A daily prayer of gratitude is a wonderful way to start. All successful people do this.

Well, that’s it for now. I will certainly try to get back to you guys sooner rather than later. Just remember that Saturn brings up our weak points for a reason…we’re not getting picked on, it’s too help us strengthen ourselves. You can do it !!! :)) Jenae

SATURN IN AQUARIUS — PART 2 — Through the Houses — 2/25/2021

Good Afternoon, dear Friends and Readers, well, I just heard from a client and she was delayed flying home, which freed up my time. Taking a vacation during Mercury retrograde is not a good thing to do !!!

If you have SAGITTARIUS RISING, the transiting Saturn will be moving through your 3rd house. The 3rd, the natural Gemini house, is about communication, practical education, travel — usually short term or regional travel, by car, truck, train, or bus. The 3rd house is also the local neighborhood. People with SAG rising crave travel, it re-news and refreshes them. Saturn in the 3rd could be business travel or just a lot of seeing friends. With the virus, socializing is tricky but it can be done safely, and the weather warming up will help. The next Mercury retrograde is 5/29 to 6/22/2021, so work around those dates for best results !!

SAG is ruled by Jupiter and with both Jupiter and Saturn in your 3rd it is likely that there will be some big and permanent improvements in your neighborhood or the town where you live. My impression is a large business or store will open up. Good for jobs and the local economy. Other possibilities are better cell reception, or a tech company with coordinated training at the local 2 year college. If it’s major construction and/or road improvements it can be a pain short-term but better in the long run.

This could be a good year to upgrade your personal technology, but work around those squares to transiting Uranus. Since Uranus is most likely in your 6th maybe there’s a program at work that gives you a discount on tech purchases. I wouldn’t loan work tools this year. People with Sag rising are generous; just be more cautious with tools and supplies owned by the company you work for. In general, Jupiter in the 3rd is a good time to buy a car, but Saturn is not. Maybe a business lease for a vehicle is ok, but you should really look carefully at your chart before moving ahead, and for sure NOT during Mercury retrograde!!

The 3rd house is siblings. Also cousins. There may be increased contact with them. Communication is very important. Try very hard to choose your words carefully (Saturn) and say exactly what you mean. There is no better transit to overcome negative thinking than Saturn in our 3rd house. It is very hard work, learning to neutralize negative thoughts. So worth it, though, because you can lay old burdens to rest once and for all and embark on a major renewal of your life :)) Friends can be a big help and support to each other this year, to help overcome old habits. They will cheer you on and vice versa…

IF you have SCORPIO RISING, then SATURN is transiting through your 4th house of home and family. This is not easy but Jupiter may provide a lot of help. The standard definition is the house is too small, too dark, too confining emotionally — like you don’t like who you are living with, etc. The other meaning is harder — Saturn represents the elders in your family, and the 4th house is also your genealogy and your ancestors. So maybe you need to correct some negative family patterns. The best way is to change yourself; we can’t change other people. When I see Saturn moving into the 4th I warn my clients to be attentive to the elders. Worst case scenario is you will lose an older relative during the 2-3 years Saturn moves through the 4th. There are also worse things than dying, an elder could have serious illness or cognitive problems and be unable to care for themselves. Many families are multi-generational and everybody chips in to help the seniors. That was the pattern in historical times, and it still functions well today. However, many families are living at a distance and then it becomes much harder to decide how to provide care. You may already be in the midst of grief, due to the virus and the terrible losses in nursing homes. There is so much grief in the world right now…we lost a Grandpa in our extended family last June and Grandma is now unable to live in her home. Her adult kids found an assisted living home for her — more personal care, and less likely to have more sickness since each senior has their own room. Less expensive than a nursing home and safer, and easier to visit, though not in the winter. I read about some research they did in Virginia. The seniors who lived communally in assisted living, no more than 8 to 10 seniors, fared far better than the nursing homes — less virus and less deaths. Would you like to know why there are more nursing homes with more risk instead of more small assisted living homes that are proven to be safer? It’s because the large nursing home corporations pay lobbyists a LOT of money to make sure they get the government subsidies, with very little left over for the assisted living providers. More Saturn-Pluto greed and corruption stuff. Greed is the root of every big problem in this country. OK, I’ll get off the soapbox…it’s just that even when I was a little girl, I liked seniors. They were always so nice to me…

OK, back to Saturn in the 4th — any gadget that you can obtain to make your home safer, cleaner, easier to manage — and to save time, money, labor or energy is recommended this year. The use of technology for practical purposes is growing very fast. I see commercials where people can operate their appliances, lock up the house or open it, clean the floors,.etc. with their phone and/or their voice. Truly amazing !!

You may end up having more meetings at your house — hopefully outdoors when it’s warmer and safer. Best to check with partners first before you plan these gatherings…they may be for a good purpose, but with transiting Uranus in your 7th your partner may have their own ideas about who they do or don’t want in the house. Not worth getting in a fight about…I have also seen clients with Uranus in their 7th and it can indicate a mid-life crisis. Add in the square from Saturn in the 4th and this could be a difficult situation. Family counselling may be in order…
