My Dream Last Night… 10/11/21

Good Morning, dear Friends and Readers, It’s been awhile since I posted anything, mainly because I’ve been so busy with the gardens, but also with so much negativity out there, why emphasize it more? We are all in the midst of difficult transits and the pressure is increasing. I will write about December later…

I will say, though, that what I am observing is that miracles are still happening on a daily basis, along with all the suffering and devastation. It is very confusing; it’s like there are 2 worlds going on simultaneously. We are still in the midst of the Saturn-Pluto conjunction that began in 2020, not the transits — Saturn has moved on to Aquarius — but the influence of that conjunction was the catalyst and still continues and will continue…

Last night I dreamed I was the principal of an elementary school — PS and some numbers, like PS 131. It made me think it was New York City, but it could have been any eastern city, or even one in Europe. It was morning and in-person school had only resumed a short while ago. I was in my office when the maintenance man called me and said the boiler (furnace) that heated the school was leaking oil. I told him to shut everything down and then I told the ladies in the office that the whole school needed to evacuate. I sent an email to all parents that school was closed and to pick up their kids. I called the fire department. The office ladies had started the bells to evacuate the school and the teachers and all the children exited the school. We all gathered in a far corner of the school grounds.

It was cold. It was inconvenient. The children were scared when they heard the fire trucks coming. The parents were mad at me, that I was a pain in the —. Until the school caught on fire, BIG fire and quite suddenly I was not a pain, I was a hero because no one was hurt. I woke up…

I thought about people that carry responsibility for the safety and well-being of others. Responsibility demands absolute integrity. We have to be strong enough to do what we feel is right, regardless of what others may think or say…

SATURN in AQUARIUS — PART 6 — 4/18/2021 ( LAST in this SERIES)

Good Afternoon, dear Friends and Readers, The post is the last in the Saturn in Aquarius series. I began with Aquarius rising and worked around the wheel…if you know your Ascendant (rising sign), then doing it this way gives more accuracy than a solar chart, which means you put the Sun on the Ascendant. That’s fine if you are born at dawn, your Sun WOULD be on the Ascendant…

We’re up to Aries now…If you have ARIES rising, the Saturn in Aquarius is transiting through your 11th house of friends and groups, or hopes and wishes for the future — the natural Aquarian house, so this transit is strong for Aries in a positive way. I have seen 3 different ways Saturn can behave in the 11th. Of course, being that there is a world crisis going on, the interpretations may be on line rather than in person. Depends on your situation…

Saturn in the 11th can mean you are working closely with groups of people in your career and may not have much leisure time for friends. It also can mean loneliness, not enough friends. Saturn here often means that you will volunteer, or be elected, or be appointed to serve a group of people. The 11th is labor unions, charitable groups, humanitarian groups, or less formal groups centered around hobbies, special interests, etc. If you are lonely, try a search on social media for whatever you are interested in, even if it’s oddball stuff — harp players, special breeds of pets, people working with leather, lace, herbs, restoring old bikes and/or motorcycles — you name it, it’s out there :)) I know people that have done this and ended up with happy friendships at a distance…

Aquarian transits are compatible with ARIES, there should be satisfaction and a sense of fulfillment. Neptune is in your 12th, suggesting you do some kind of spiritual practice every day. Doesn’t have to be a problem. Jupiter is either in your 11th or in your 12th by now — bringing spiritual understanding, growth and peace of mind. Not a problem. Uranus in Taurus in your 1st or 2nd can shake up old routines that have gotten stale. Aries is a sign more accustomed to challenge and change so Uranus should be reasonably OK. So, what IS the problem? I think it is Pluto which is forming a square to Aries, especially the last 10 degrees of Aries. Pluto in Capricorn is most likely in your 10th house of career. Government help may only delay the inevitable, you may need to train for work in another industry. There’s some kind of pressure here from Pluto, suggesting change and transformation in your career is going to be mandatory. For example, look what the pandemic did to the hospitality industry. It still hasn’t recovered…

You ARIES RISING people need to keep an eye on the other cardinal planets — be alert when the transits shift from Aries (now) to Cancer (summer), Libra (fall) and meet up with Pluto in Capricorn at the end of this year and early 2022. You may want to be more security conscious at those times. You may need to resist manipulative actions on the part of other people, or it could simply be government policies or laws that feel like a pain to deal with… It’s probably a good year to really study your chart. And think back over the lengthy Mars transit through Aries last year, culminating at 29 degrees Aries on January 6, 2021. ANY 29 degree is considered a critical degree…

All in all, I think Aries rising will have a pretty good year — just keep an eye on Pluto…

If you have PISCES RISING, them Saturn in AQUARIUS is most likely transiting through your 12th house of spiritual matters. If you have a later degree Pisces rising, then Saturn may still be in your 11th. Saturn takes 2 1/2 to 3 years to move through a whole sign or house. Saturn in the 12th, in ANY sign, can be a toughie. We often have to face our worst fears and work through them. If you can forgive the people who have wronged you, you may emerge from this transit immeasurably strengthened. You may need to do some short-term counselling. There’s EMDR for past trauma, and there are counselors that specialize — family dynamics, physical and emotional abuse, substance abuse, etc. Often, with Saturn in the 12th, it’s about loneliness and abandonment. And it can be hard to get any tea or sympathy from the people who you think SHOULD be there for you. That’s why I mentioned professionals.

When I had Saturn in my 12th, and I’m old enough that I’ve had it twice, it was certainly no picnic. I felt very alone. And I had to really look at myself and how the decisions I had made before had brought me to that point. Once Saturn moves into our 1st house, we can roll up our sleeves and get to work fixing what we discovered about ourselves when Saturn was in our 12th. The 12th is a hidden house — past lives, karma, secret sorrows, contracts we made while we were still in heaven — things we agreed to work on, and they often can involve hurtful experiences with other people. Both times, there were people in my life who were dishonest with me. It really hurt and I felt very betrayed. Soooo, what are you going to do? Feel like a victim? That just about guarantees it will happen again. I had to make myself get very tough and very strong and also be more skeptical of people to make sure I wasn’t attracting people with hidden agendas. I will never forget what I learned and it continues to help me… you can do that, too.

It’s so important to be honest with ourselves. And to be grateful for our blessings. And to plant seeds of kindness out in the world, WITHOUT drawing in the scammers.

This time in your life could be a wonderful new beginning spiritually. Meditation? Yoga? Journal-ling? Writing down your dreams? When people don’t like being alone, it’s called loneliness. When they do like it, it’s called solitude. Pisces make good card readers. Maybe this is the year you begin to really study a particular deck or system. If you want something more simple, try the I Ching or Runes.

Since Neptune is transiting through Pisces, you should allow a 2 to 3 degree orb on either side of your Ascendant for the Neptune conjunction. Neptune moves so slowly that this conjunction lasts 3 to 4 years. It’s a once in a lifetime transit. Neptune is the hardest planet to interpret. At least I think so…anyway, read everything you can to understand the spiritual unfoldment that is happening in your life. Eventually, both Jupiter (2022) and Saturn (in about 3 years) will conjoins your Ascendant, too. I’m watching the Pisces rising people in my life…more on this as it unfolds…

Meanwhile, take good care of your health, on all levels., Trust your instincts when consulting medical professionals. Consider getting second opinions, too. Don’t give up your authority over yourself…

SATURN IN AQUARIUS — 12/16/2020 to 3/7/2023 — Saturn Through the Houses — PART 1 — 2/21/2021

Hello Dear Readers and Friends, I’ve been hesitating about writing this blog, but Saturn is now past my Sun and Mercury is direct, so it’s time to move forward with this series on Saturn. Yesterday I read a rather grim article about Saturn in Aquarius. The man knew his history and he also gave a lot of examples of epidemics and of people born with Saturn in Aquarius. I was so depressed after reading it that I hid under a blanket most of the day and took 2 naps — anything to change the energy. And naps usually work for me…and today is a better day…TG!

It is obvious to me that Saturn in Aquarius is showing huge amounts of divisiveness — groups of people reviling and/or criticising and/or attacking one another. This horrible virus with all the emerging mutations will not go away as long as people are fighting. The lesson is to learn to get along and allow other people to be who they are and to practice tolerance and look for what we all have in common. The more positive expression of Saturn in Aquarius is teamwork, brotherly love and cooperation for the common good. Lots of new groups are starting now that are doing exactly that. I want you to keep an eye on the people who were born with Saturn in Aquarius — watch what they do and what their values are for a clue to our future. The people born in 1962, 1963 and early 1964 and the people born in 1991, 1992, and 1993. And of course the babies born now from December 2020 through March of 2023. These are the lightworkers. I don’t know what their role is, but they have a special part to play in our evolution…

If you have AQUARIUS RISING, then Saturn is either in your 12th house or moving to your Ascendant and into your 1st house. It is VERY important that you know what degree of Aquarius is on your Ascendant so you can prepare for this transit. There are lots of programs on the internet that will give you your birth positions, but you need to know your time of birth as exact to the minute as possible. With Saturn in the 12th, we may have to face some of our worst fears. It takes courage to have hope these days. Saturn in the 12th can indicate focus and dedication to spiritual practices, or it can be a symbol of isolation and depression. It is even possible to grieve over losing a friend or a connection to a group that you valued.

Once Saturn is in our 1st house, it is time to roll up our shirt sleeves and get to work fixing what is not working in our lives. Your health could be under some pressure so take vitamins and try to get power naps when you feel extra tired. Saturn shows us our weak points, what needs to be strengthened. If you are shy and withdrawn, then you are going to have to find the courage to reach out to other people. The Internet is easy compared to physical life right now. Maybe you show the leadership indicated by the 1st house by starting your own group, or teach a class online. I knew someone with this position and he was not happy in his job. He did a bunch of research and decided what he wanted to pursue. It took him over a year to make the change but now he is quite satisfied. Remember, Saturn can be a symbol for career. Time to step up and be your true self !!

You will want to pay attention to your bones, joints, and teeth (Saturn) and particularly to the knees to the ankles (Aquarius). Since the first house is the head, good dental care is SO important. Bad teeth can cause headaches. Invest in the best toothbrush you can afford and also use mouthwash a lot — kills the virus, too…

Ben Franklin once said, “The best way to have a good friend is to be one!” and people with Saturn in their first would do well to get really clear on the principles of friendship — the boundaries, the ethics, what you are looking for, etc. — especially if you have been grieving a loss in this area. Some people are friends with their family but it doesn’t always work out that way. Aquarians often consider their friends their family. Saturn in your 1st could be a test of your capacity for friendship or it could be a whole new group of people comes into your life. Above all, Saturn helps us manifest big goals and projects. So make your list and WRITE IT DOWN — what do you want and/or need most in your life?

If you have Saturn in Aquarius in your 2nd house, you most likely have CAPRICORN RISING. I’ve seen lots of books say Saturn in the 2nd is money troubles, but I don’t agree. Remember, there’s a potential positive with Saturn. Before I get into that, there is an exception this year — transiting Saturn and transiting Uranus will square each other 3 times — we just had the first one — February 17, then June 14, and finally December 23, 2021. If Saturn is in your 2nd, then Uranus will be in your 5th — which is the house of kids and having fun, and the 2nd is personal money, resources, talents, and possessions. Squares can be a sign of challenge, frustration and the need to make adjustments. Squares can be a sign of hard work and big accomplishments. I just think for a week around each of these squares that you will need to be careful about loaning your personal stuff, or about doing so much for your kids and their friends and/or a group that you begin to feel like a sacrifical lamb…no brownie points in heaven for giving too much and feeling resentment about it!! If you are part of a dedicated team and EVERYONE is equally committed, then fine !! Go for it !! But in general, this will be a year where kids and/or people younger than yourself may want to borrow your stuff, or they want you to buy stuff, maybe frivolous stuff. Making the right decisions in these areas will help you define what values are important to you and pressure may bring this to your awareness and lead to some valuable learning for the kids. We are not defined by our possessions. That’s a hard one for kids that want the latest status symbol. If they are exhibiting a lack of confidence in themselves, or they want to impress their friends, then you’re going to need to help them work through this. I don’t think your kids or younger friends should be allowed to borrow your stuff this year. If they want or need something, ask them what they are willing to contribute toward the purchase. Time or money, like doing chores and racking up points toward the purchase. Sometimes Uranus in the 5th can indicate rebellious kids. If you are experiencing this, it’s probably time for tough love and family counselling.

Now that we’ve looked at the group interactions and we realize that this is probably NOT the best year to go into business with a friend or friends, let’s look at Saturn from a more personal view. This could be the year you really focus on building up your personal skills and talents. Maybe you spend some money on training or materials and have less time for social life because you have a big goal in mind. I started my business when Saturn was in my 2nd, and everything went well because I still kept my part-time job to ease the transition and I studied hard, every night, and assembled the resources I would need to take what had been a private hobby and turn it into a public business. These days I think it can be quicker and easier but there’s no getting around the dedication you need when Saturn is involved. Maybe your goal is simply getting out of debt and starting to save some money. Hard with a pandemic going on, but still possible. Saturn is about short-term sacrifice for long-term reward. There’s an old saying about Taurus — neither a borrower nor a lender be !! So be careful…

As far as health, the bones and joints in your neck may need some attention. Good to do some gentle neck exercises on a regular basis. I think it might be important to make sure your desk or your workbench is the right height and maybe you will need a chair that is both adjustable in height and also at the neck. The same knees to ankle caution still applies as well and so does good dental care.

There is no getting around the power of the pen :)) It is the first step to bring an idea into physical manifestation. So please write down your goals and wish list. Review it and change it if necessary, maybe once a month. Pat yourself on the back for slow and steady progress. The 2nd is the Taurus house and this is the Year of the OX — substantive progress that lasts a long time…
