Hello Again, dear Readers and Friends…continuing Uranus transiting through Taurus, if it’s moving through your 5th house you can expect changes with kids in your life. Remember, if I can think of a dozen interpretations, the Universe can manifest a thousand, and I will also address more personal interpretations. This is an interesting transit because it could mean that kids you know are in full rebellion, or they are eager to learn about electronics and you may need to put limits on screen time, or their friends become your friends and your house becomes the cool hang out place after school. What I like about this transit is it can manifest as kids you know really learning about themselves and finding out what they really like and experiencing joy through following their interests with enthusiasm. The 5th house is the natural Leo house, individuation and also creativity. Uranus here would be in its opposite house, so there may be quite a bit of discussion at home about being an individual versus following the crowd. If there are potentially malefic planets in your chart affecting your 5th house, it could even be about bullying. Let’s hope not; that’s a terrible situation for any child. Uranus is disruptive, so maybe it just means some friends may move from your area, or maybe new friends appear, too.
Since the 5th house is also creativity and play, you and your friends might consider taking any kind of art workshops that appeal. This is also a great way to make new friends by doing what you love. Entertainment is also 5th house, so maybe you and friends get involved in community theater, music, or another type of production. Don’t be surprised if you suddenly develop new hobbies and interests. It’s part of your plan, spiritually. It’s good to be aware of how deep a rapport you can have with others. Don’t talk yourself into a deeper friendship than is possible. Maybe you share making stained glass together but the other parts of your lives don’t mesh. Accept it for what it is…
Romance is 5th house but Uranus here is a little tricky. People with strong Uranus/Venus transits can go from friendship to romance in the blink of an eye, and then back to platonic again. The point is Uranus in your 5th can be romantically exciting but not particularly stable. The partner may be temporary, or be in your life as a catalyst — good for your growth and learning. They may exit, but you are still in possession of the gift they gave you…
Uranus in the 6th is all about co-ops. Service through groups. Food co-ops, babysitting co-ops, community gardens, etc. All things involved with daily chores and activities that improve our health are 6th house. HMO’s for medical would be another example. I would say watch your neck, since Taurus rules the neck. Uranus would be the nervous system (electricity, along with Mercury); Uranus by itself rules the knees to the ankles. Protect your neck and maybe do exercises to strengthen it — slow and steady, nothing jarring. You don’t need a pinched nerve. One thing about Uranus in the 6th — health issues can come up suddenly, but they can also be resolved quickly. The use of technology can be very helpful. When I had Uranus on my Sun in the 6th, I noticed a lump on the side of my knee. I had recently lost a friend to bone cancer and I felt very panicked, sure that I had bone cancer and 6 months to live. All of the little stuff fell away and I realized what was most important to me to get done before I left the earth. I went to the doctor and the xray showed it was only a synovial cyst, full of joint fluid. The doctor said it was probably from a blow to the knee so long ago I didn’t even remember. PHEW !!! He took care of it and my knee was fine, but I NEVER forgot the lesson I learned from the experience. Anyway, athletes in particular, and football and soccer players, need to be careful with Uranus in their 6th. A sudden accident can change your life.
The 6th house is also domestic poultry, small dogs, and cats. Maybe Uranus in your 6th means you adopt a rescue pet and make a friend for life. Or maybe you decide to raise chickens, or guinea hens, or peacocks, etc.
Any gadget that makes your daily chores easier is favored with this transit. Save your money and buy the best equipment you can afford. The trines to Saturn and Pluto mean buy quality. I suppose this could even mean investing in a high tech bed, since good rest improves our health.
URANUS in your 7th — this one can be so unpredictable!! Remember, the 5th is light-hearted dating, maybe a casual romance. The 7th is marriage and living together and partnerships. Even business partnerships or a mentor/teacher relationship can be 7th house. The fun part of this transit is that you and your partner’s intuition can grow MUCH stronger. I believe that we are all connected by an invisible grapevine. Reading each other’s minds and sending little mental messages can make everyday life much more fun :)) The tricky part is that unless you make a conscious effort to grow and learn new things, maybe share a new hobby together, Uranus can symbolize a desire for more freedom. I have read for thousands of couples and I can count on one hand those who survived infidelity and made a stronger marriage as a result. Now, PLEASE do not worry and suspect your partner if you have Uranus in your 7th. There would have to be other transits involved. Get your chart done if you are concerned. Call me. I would most likely talk you off the ledge, figuratively speaking. Uranus here DOES support socializing together and it is important that you both like each other’s friends. Maybe this transit would more symbolize the empty nest time, when the kids grow up and you both need to consciously choose how to fill that void.
I’ve seen Uranus in the 7th be falling love with your best friend and living happily ever after. I’ve seen it manifest as a torrid and intense romance that ends very quickly. I’ve seen it manifest as a partner who is so quirky the relationship becomes uncomfortable and the couple separates but stays friends. Best with this transit to ground yourself and don’t commit too quickly.
As far as business partnerships, Uranus in Taurus might be a big investment in your business, maybe an upgrade of technology or equipment. This transit can be very favorable as long as you and your partner are in agreement. Do your research carefully, hire an expert if need be, and proceed with confidence. I would have to know more about the particular business to advise more in detail. Important to look a the macro trends, the economy in general, whether the business is local, or bigger, etc. Another possibility with Uranus in the 7th is that one partner wants the other to buy them out. Again, the same factors would be in play.
If you are a mentor/teacher, then Uranus in your 7th would most likely bring you students with whom you share a great rapport. The connection will last but they might move away suddenly. If you are dependent on students for your income, not public school, but more like a music teacher, or a tutor, then don’t count on stability. Actually, I just thought about it !!! Say you have a great student and he or she has to leave the area. The use of modern technology could mean the lessons can continue via Skype, U-Tube, Facetime, etc. Uranus in that way would symbolize technology that helps you reach out across the world to share what you know. Just set up a PayPal account for payments. I know people who do this and they teach English lessons — all over the world from the comfort of their own home…
If you are single and Uranus in Taurus is in your 7th, there are many possibilities …maybe you want freedom more than being with a partner. Maybe you have friends who keep your life so full that you are not sure if you have the time to give. Maybe you will meet the love of your life at a gathering of friends. Don’t refuse invitations to social gatherings this year. Even a wedding. Pursuing your hobbies and doing what you love can attract a partner into your life when you least expect it. You can use technology, ie online dating, but be cautious and conservative — check out the other person thoroughly. Online works but there all also a lot of scammers out there…
Well, dear ones, time to close for now…8th, 9th, and 10th in a couple days…isn’t it inspiring that people all over the world are coming together to support the restoration of Notre Dame? When I saw the fire on TV, I felt like I had been sucker-punched. If we can restore an historic church, coming together with a common purpose, then why can’t we do the same to protect the oceans? I read an article the other day that listed 20 companies that make bathing suits and they all are recycling the worn out nylon fishing nets, that used to be dumped in the ocean, into fabric for the suits. Another great idea !! Stay tuned…Jenae
